Two things "they" always need to convince you of because, if you knew the truth, you wouldn't need them anymore!
Middle of the road is bad and you're throwing your vote away if you vote for a third party. Simply look at some of the most extreme positions of the left and the right and ask yourself if a more moderate, middle of the road approach wouldn't be one whole hell of allot more reasonable.
Most of our politicians are Lawyers they're trained to make money when others are unable to resolve their differences. So when you and I are down here in the trenches arguing, they're up on the hill, with their arms around each other, laughing. We need to look for true, reasonable, people that are patriots and vote for them regardless of their party affiliation. If you only try to vote for the "winner" you'll get the bastard you deserve!
Control of the Republican Party dialog has been turned over to the extreme fundamentalist right.
Control of the Democrat Party dialog has been turned over to communists.
Both parties want to take all my money and give it to you!
And we vote for them because our parents did... How bright is that? All we're seeing out of these two morally bankrupt institutions is professional political families controlling the dialog and military might to benefit the generation of politicians they are currently raising.
Personally I look to the Republican Liberty caucus for leadership and platform. In our current situation I'd say we should never have a Democrat as commander and Chief. The Congress should be term limited to one six year term. Tbe good news: The extreme wings of each party command significantly less than 30% of the faithfuls. Time to get to work.
Religion...
The primary driving force of ignorance and abuse of the ignorant throughout history and in the world today. Mind you, this is not a comment on God,
the spirit, the power of prayer, the value of religious principals, your individual church, or
any individuals relationship with "God". My comment is meant to indict
those who have and continue to use religion to mold the shape of the
world based on personal faith, greed, or a lust for power. The Christian's and the Muslim's have
raped, pillaged, plundered, and killed for thousands of years and
we still send our money to Jimmy Swaggart! What's up with that? Just one
look and I can tell he's evil. Evil is perhaps a bit harsh; probably,
simply more of a lying, stealing, bastard, than anything. The earth is flat, the sun revolves
around the earth, behead him! Burn her at the stake! One God and he's a
Methodist, a Catholic, Baptist,...? :) Oh crap! What if he's a Muslim!? :o
Don't tell me about it... LIVE IT! The
reason we've been told to "witness" and "tithe" is to benefit the
greedy and lustful. We all know someone who needs our help. Do you
really need someone else to tell you where to send your money? Send
your sister a $100! OK, a bit harsh but keep in mind this is not a war on Christians it's a comment on our history which is predominately unknown thanks to the church. God Bless YOU! and ME TOO!
